I found Isla, for what seemed like the 100th time, pressing the nipple of her sippy cup against the ground, so the water would come out and she could play in it.
I said, "No, Isla."
She threw her cup down, backed up, put her hands out to show they were empty, gave me her sassy face and said, "What?!"
I tried hard not to laugh.
