We spent Friday and Saturday working on our backyard. I went to Lowes and bought a tomato and watermelon plant. Its a huge experiment for me as I've never tried to garden in my life. I really hope they both survive!
-We had a pool party with our small group Sunday. Everyone brought their kids so Evan and Seth had a blast with their friends. It was a beautiful and fun day! I have some pics.
- We have 2 black racer snakes living in our backyard. The boys love the snakes and feel the need to check on them everyday. Evan took a stick and touched one and now he tells everyone that he touched a snake.
- I felt the baby kick for the first time Saturday! Ever since he/she has been doing gymnastics in my belly!
- We've picked out baby names! We're not telling until we find out what were having though! Next week I have an appointment with my midwife and I'll schedule my ultrasound for any day after that. Yippie!

Happy Birthday Seth
Well, it was two days ago but I havent had time to update. We had a packed day, we went to breakfast at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill where you sit around a griddle and make your own pancakes, it was a lot of fun and very yummy. Afterwards Jed and I made a trip to the eye doctor, Jed was cutting a steal door in our garage and a fleck of metal got embedded in his eye. Fortunately the doc was able to get it out easily and recovery was simply putting eye drops in his eyes for a day. Then I went shopping for a couple hours with Jed's mom at one of her favorite places here in Florida, Old Time Pottery. We rushed home to start work on dinner and I still had to wrap Seth's presents. The party was a lot of fun and Seth got a lot of great things, his favorite were the bubbles from his aunt Tracy. However I think that the pool nana and papa got him will rival the bubbles this summer! :) I had planned on giving Seth his first haircut on his birthday but time got away from me and before I knew it, he was in bed. I finally got to it today though. It was quite a shock at first but it's starting to grow on me and as it gets a little longer I think it will be very cute.

Despite the look on his face in this picture he really did enjoy his breakfast.

Beach Trip
Jed's parents are in town visiting and we're all beach lovers so we decided to find a cheap hotel at Daytona Beach. We headed out yesterday and spent the entire afternoon playing in the waves with the boys. It was so nice to be able to walk back to our room and get cleaned up rather than having to drive home. We went out to dinner and then came back to the hotel and enjoyed the indoor pool before going to bed. We had a very relaxing morning, heading out to the pool area of the hotel, the boys played in the kiddie pool for about an hour making many new friends. When lunch rolled around Seth was exhausted so Jed took him for a nap while, the rest of us ate lunch overlooking the ocean. I was looking out and saw something floating about 100 yards in the water. I had the initial thought that it looked somewhat like a body floating face down but it was so far away and it was such a crazy thought that I didn't say anything to anyone but kept a close eye on the object. As it got closer and closer I became more and more suspicious that it was a person but I was still confused b/c right next to where we were sitting was a lifeguard tower and I thought if anyone could tell the difference between a boogie board and a human body it would be a lifeguard. I finally told Jed's parents what I thought I saw out in the ocean and as we were discussing it a man sitting next to us took off running to the lifeguard tower. He alerted the lifeguard and after a few moments of discussing it amongst themselves one took off into the water. It was in fact a person and here's the rest of the story, http://www.wesh.com/news/15859955/detail.html. After reading this story I feel better knowing that it wouldn't have made any difference if I had gone to the lifeguards as soon as I had seen this poor man. However if anything like this ever happens again I will be the first one finding help.

We had ribs for dinner the night before and had some leftover, Evan took care of them for us at lunch.

Baby Bump
This baby is making him/herself comfortable in there. My belly is expanding much faster than my other 2 pregnancies but that could be more b/c of my new found love for baked potatoes than the baby. :) Sunday was my birthday and we went out to dinner with some friends to celebrate. While at dinner I was sitting at the table when it felt as though I had been bitten or stung by something on my shin. Instinctively I gasped, kind of pushed myself away from the table and tried to smack away whatever evil thing was attacking me. I quickly realized not only was there nothing under the table but also everyone was looking at me like I had two heads. Jed asked me if I was having an "episode" (once when we were dating I passed out for no reason and now he calls it the "episode"). I was kind of embarassed but laughed it off and as I was trying to figure out what was going on, it happened again. I realized it felt more like an electrical shock than a bite and it was probably something pregnancy related. For the rest of the night I kept getting "shocked" over and over again, fortunately as long as I wasnt sitting down it was less intense. I havent felt it since Sunday but I will definitely be asking my midwife about this! I have had some weird and unexpected pregnancy related symptoms but this is the strangest so far.
