Birthday Girl

For her third birthday Isla requested a Sofia party.  

Farm Fest

Friends invited us to a blueberry festival this weekend. We enjoyed browsing the vendor before picking berries and then chatting.  The kids were playing but Celia was getting fussy and Isla mentioned she needed to go pee but quickly ran off to play.  Jed and I both went back to talking with our friends. A few minutes later, I heard Evan say, "OH MY GOSH! OHHHH MY GOSH!" My very alarmed 10 year old pointed to his left where his sister was, with her shoes off, her underwear in a ball on the ground, her dress hiked up to her chest and she was squatting.  Oh my gosh indeed. In a whirlwind we said goodbye to our friends and whisked our kids to the car to head home.  

First Visit to the Beach

It was Celia's first time and our first trip of 2015.  It was chilly, as in I was cold just standing there!  Fortunately our crazy kids didn't mind and played even with blue lips.  The Jellyfish were out in force and we think Seth got stung (sometimes its so subtle its hard to tell if its a sting or irritation from the salt/sand).

Babies first beach day! 

Some other kids dug a hole, filled it with water and collected the washed up jellyfish.  

We can't wait until summer!  

First "Bobby"

Isla got her first Barbie!  

It came in her Happy Meal and let me tell you it made her sooooo happy!  

She asked me to take a picture of her and her "bobby" and when I told her to smile she smiled so hard I thought her little cheeks were going to burst! 

This is her, telling me, "This my bobby mom, not yours!" 

 I think the crazy eyes make her point clear.  

Senior Pics

I had the privilege of taking my nephew Jonathan's senior pictures!  It had been a while since I had picked up my big camera so I was a bit rusty.  We had fun though and we got some pictures he and his parents were happy with so mission accomplished!  

We took a brief break and of course the kids swarmed their cousin.  I couldn't help but take a snap or two. 

Back to business! 

He's the youngest of my brother in laws crew so it looks like the next time I take senior pictures will be when Evan graduates!
